Hey Love! I know it's been a while since I've posted on here but your girl is a whole 9months pregnant with her second baby on the way!
Seeing as I've been finalising what's in my hospital bag I thought I'd share what's in mine for my fellow preggo babes or anyone who's interested. I’ve tried my best to link the items that are MY faves and few quality items that I've seen online that have great reviews.
Mama's let me know your hospital bag must-haves!
First up, one thing I'm doing this time around is packing mine and baby's items in a SUITCASE! Something with wheels is far easier than carrying along a cute looking bag that just weighs you or your partners arm down lol. I've also decided to use transparent zip-lock clothes bags which I've labeled- (call me extra I know lol) to organise everything so if my partner needs to grab something for me its easy to locate.
Okay, so lets get into this list, feel free to screenshot and save this if you find it helpful!
Mum
Mummy Essentials:
Hospital Notes
Birth Plan
Toiletries
Deodorant
Shower gel
Face cleanser
Body lotion
Toothpaste
Toothbrush
Peri bottle (this is a must for after birth when everything is still tender and makes it so much easier to freshen up)
Lip balm (during my last labour experience the gas and air made my lips ridiculously dry and I didn't have lip balm with me - So this is definitely a must have item!)
Hair brush/products (most likely my hair will be in braids/locs so I'll just need a few bits to lay my edges)
Minimal makeup bag (this is not a must, but I've decided to pack it just in case)
Clothes
2 nursing bras (Next have a great size range)
3 large black cotton knickers (You can also pick up a pack at Primark)
1 pair of warm socks
Comfy Loungewear (going home outfit)
Large towel
Flip flops (for bathroom)
Head Scarf/Bonnet
Electronics
Wireless headphones (this just means that I don't have to rely on anyone to play my gospel playlist and I can just centre myself and get in zone)
Phone
Charger
Baby
Baby Essentials:
Doona Car Seat (This is one of my absolute favourite items and I can completely vouch for this product. Its super easy to use and extremely convenient)
Ready-made milk (if not breastfeeding)
Small MAM baby bottles (if not breastfeeding)
Baby's Toiletries
Nappies and Nappy bags
Fragrance free wipes
Baby's Clothes
2 hats
1 going home outfit (including hat and socks)
Muslins

Change of clothes
Toiletries
I hope these hospital bag essentials are helpful!
If I've left anything out I'll be sure to update the blog.
Do let me know if there's anything you think is a hospital bag must-have below.
And thank you for all your prayers and well wishes, we appreciate ALL of them so much!
